MapleStory 2 Update in South Korean Server

We all know that MapleStory 2 has been released in Korean for a long time, and update for several times. This page will take us to see the updates in the South Korean Server with some special features.

First, 2 social features were added, which are fishing and music composing. The fishing function in MapleStory 2 is quite simple. There are different types of fishing rods as well as different sizes of the same fish. Besides there are also fish themed fashion costumes.

Meanwhile, the music composing and concert function is pretty awesome. Players can now compose their own music and perform to the others. Currently there are only 2 musical instruments, which are piano and guitar. Players can perform solo or in a group of 4. To encourage players to use this function, there are also some bonus perks like costumes.

Second, in this update, a brand new pet system has been added into the game. Currently there are 3 pets, which are penguin, dog and dragon. These pets can not only give their owners a 5% move speed boost, but also have 4 other skills, which are character revive, picking up items, taking medicine automatically and adding 5 points to physical and magic attack. At the same time, a new high-level dungeon has also been added into the game in this update. It's a 10-man dungeon for the players whose level is higher than level 50. The final boss in this dungeon is Barkhant the "God of Darkness", who will not only drop the best defense items, but also drop the materials to craft the best new "Indestructible" series of weapons.
