MapleStory Monster Life Guide

Monster Life is a new system where players can build their own farms to receive buffs. Clovers are used to express a farm’s beauty, and special buffs can be obtained from it. Players can use Waru to buy buildings, decor and monsters to mold their farms to their preferences. An account of characters can only share one farm.

MONSTER LIFE NOTES:

Note that the farm’s name is permanent and cannot be changed thereafter unless with the use of a Farm renaming coupon, so give it some thought before confirming! Again, I would like to stress that a farm is shared across all characters in the maple ID and cannot be deleted once it is created.

Increasing your farm level allows you to gain access to new buildings and quests, as well as a higher monster capacity for your farm. Farm Exp can be acquired from caring for your monsters and from completing Monster life quests.

Monsters are tagged with a 30-day duration from the day it is obtained. Upon expiry, said monster will no longer be able to combine and will no longer provide potential but will not be deleted from your farm (unless manually released). Monsters can be released by right clicking on it and selecting the ‘Release’ button.

Add or remove friends from any world to your list (max 50), block players, view recommended farms, view another user’s farm, start a chat as well as view another player’s homepage. Update: “Cross World (or Server)” is available whereas “Cross Gateway” is not available in Monster Life.

Right click on any user in the friends list and select the message button to directly chat with them (regardless of world, as long as both are in Monster Life). Direct chat between player in Monster Life and player in regular Maplestory gameplay will be restricted to players within the same world.

Right click on the farm of any user in the friends list and select the homepage button to view their homepage. The homepage can also be accessed by right clicking the profile picture of your farm or any farm that you are visiting and selecting the Homepage button. The Homepage allows visitors to leave messages, users to post statuses (e.g facebook status) as well as display your own customized profile.
