MapleStory V: Lucid Update Revealed

The current update - Lucid update will bring us a new boss Lucid, which requires Lv. 230 and above. Additionally, a new area of Lachelein in Arcane River is introduced. Here are some details of the patch notes.

New Boss: Lucid

Requirement: Lv. 230 and above

The Master of Nightmares has arrived in MapleStory!

Complete the quests in the new area of Lachelein and reach the top of the Clocktower!

Once there, Lucid will whisk you away to parts unknown where you will do battle against her and her minions.

Beefy Lucid Soul: STR +24

Swift Lucid Soul: DEX +24

Clever Lucid Soul: INT +24

Fortuitous Lucid Soul: LUK +24

Flashy Lucid Soul: STR/DEX/INT/LUK +15

Potent Lucid Soul: Weapon ATT +6

Radiant Lucid Soul: Magic ATT +6

Hearty Lucid Soul: MaxHP +960

Magnificent Lucid Soul: ATT +3%, Magic ATT +3%, STR/DEX/INT/LUK +5%, MaxHP + 2000, Critical Rate +12%, Ignore DEF +7%, Boss ATT +7%, All Skill Level +2

Arcane River: Lachelein

Requirement: Lv. 220 and above

Prepare yourselves for a land of mystery where not everything is as it seems.

The last area in Arcane River, Lachelein, is available after completing the Chu Chu Island questline.

After you progress from Vanishing Journey and Chu Chu Island, you will begin the final step of fighting the new boss, Lucid.

Rewards:

You can obtain two different stones that are exchanged for Arcane weapons and armor.

Arcane River Droplet Stones drop off of monsters, and Butterfly Droplet Stones drop off of defeating Lucid.

There are two NPCs in Lachelein named Dimo and Kanto. Kanto is the NPC that exchanges Butterfly Droplet Stones and Arcane River Droplet Stones for Phantasma Coins.

You need 10 Arcane River Droplet Stones and 1 Butterfly Droplet Stone for 1 Phantasma Coin.

Use Phantasma Coins to purchase Arcane weapons and armor.
